Design

Ben trained as a fine artist at Hampstead College and has worked in the graphic design field for several years. He has designed, and worked on multiple design, craft and installation pieces. Select examples of design work can be found below.

FOREIGN OFFICE

Ben's graphic design work has been used in Foreign Office campaigns, a notable example of which was the Coronavirus Travel Aware campaign to help get Brits home. An example can be seen below:

VICTORIA & ALBERT MUSEUM - THE RED VELVET TREE OF LOVE

For The Red Velvet Tree of Love, Helen and Colin David were commissioned by the V&A museum to create a Christmas tree for the lobby of the museum. Ben assisted with the construction of the tree, and prepared it for installation. Further details and a video documenting the work can be found on Helen and Colin's website - here.

ANTHONY HOROWITZ - GHOST INSTALLATION

For Ghost, Colin David was commissioned to create a secret art installation within Anthony Horowitz's home, based on the M.C Etcher print "Convex and Concave". Ben assisted with the installation of the work, hand painting the floor as a 3D optical illusion and hanging the mural. Further details and a video documenting the work can be found on Colin's website - here.

SASKIA GRIFFITHS-MOORE OCEAN OF STARS

Ben designed the materials for Saskia's third studio album, reflecting and building on the previous design aesthetic they collaborated to create. Ethereal text and warm hues are used throughout the cover, innards, and booklet.
